Recommended and required specifications for using Skill Struck platforms.

System Requirements & Device Compatibility
Operating System: To ensure the best experience using Skill Struck and its associated platforms, please make sure that your system meets the following requirements:
- Windows: Windows 10 or later
- macOS: macOS 10.15 or later
- PC/Windows desktops and laptops
- Mac desktops and laptops
- Chromebooks
- iPad and other tablets
- Chromebooks: the standard US keyboard setting is required (not US international)
- iPads: external keyboard required for Type Station and some games
Mobile Capabilities: While Skill Struck is accessible on mobile devices, it is not recommended due to the challenges of performing coding activities on small screens.
Supported Web Browsers
Skill Struck recommends using the current versions of the following web browsers:
- Google Chrome (Recommended)
- Firefox
- Safari
- Edge (be sure to use version 79 or newer. Skill Struck is not optimized for older versions of Edge).
Older versions of certain browsers may work, but to ensure the best functionality, Skill Struck recommends using the most up-to-date version of each browser.
Internet Connection
A stable internet connection is recommended for optimal performance of the Skill Struck platform.
JavaScript and Cookies
JavaScript and Cookies must be enabled in web browser settings to ensure proper functionality.
Identity and Learning Management Integration
Skill Struck integrates with various Identity and Learning Management solutions such as Clever, ClassLink, Canvas, Schoology, OneRoster (through 1EdTech), Google SSO, and Microsoft SSO to facilitate authentication and account creation.

System Updates
Regular software updates are conducted to enhance performance and usability, which are automatically deployed to users without the need for manual installation.
Accessibility Integration
Skill Struck utilizes the accessiBe access widget, an web accessibility solution that offers a wide range of customizable accessibility features, allowing users to choose from several profiles to enhance their individual experience on the platform.
Browser Plug-ins and Extensions
For optimal performance of our platforms, Skill Struck advises users to check for any browser plug-ins or extensions that may interfere with the website’s functionality. These can include (but not limited to) ad-blockers, script-blockers, and privacy extensions. Some users may need to disable these types of extensions, in order for Skill Struck to run as intended.
