In this article, you will learn how to locate and modify your settings in Chat for Schools.

1. From your Chat for Schools Educator Portal, click on the person icon in the top right of the page.
2. Click on "My account."
3. This will bring you to the "My account" page, where you are able to "Link Google Classroom", "Change Password", and toggle "Email Notifications".

4. To change your password, click on "Change Password".
5. This will prompt the user to type their "Current Password", followed by a "New Password", and then will require them to "Confirm New Password". After these have been filled out click "Change Password".
Passwords must contain at least 8 characters, a combination of upper and lowercase letters, and a number.
6. Toggling on the "Email Notifications" will allow the user to be notified of the following "categories".
7. These notification "categories" can be toggled on and off based on user preference.
8. Toggling off "Email Notifications" will prevent the user from getting notifications of such occurrences.
9. Once the selection of "Email Notifications" has been made, click "Save changes".
