Windows-based PC
- Press the Print Screen key at the top right side of your keyboard.

- This will save the screenshot to your clipboard. From there, you can paste the screenshot into an email.
- Press the Windows + Print Screen keys at the same time.
- This will save a screenshot to your computer.
- The screenshot will be saved to a folder named "Screenshots." This folder can be found nested in the "Pictures" folder.
Chromebook
- Press the Control + Show Windows keys at the same time.
- The Show Windows key can usually be found above the number 6 key. The key looks like two vertical lines to the right of a rectangle.
- To take a screenshot of a selected area:
- Press the Control + Shift + Show Windows keys at the same time.
- Drag the mouse over the area you would like to capture.
- Screenshots are automatically saved to the Downloads folder.
Mac
- Press the Shift + Command + 3 keys at the same time.
- This will save a screenshot to the desktop.
- To take a screenshot of a specific window:
- Press the Shift + Command + 3 + Space keys at the same time.
- Then, click on the window you would like to capture. This screenshot will also be saved to the desktop.
- To take a screenshot of a custom size:
- Press the Shift + Command + 4 keys at the same time.
- Drag your mouse over the area you would like to capture.
- Release the mouse to save the screenshot to your desktop.
