The Chat for Schools Admin Portal includes 2 tools that allow admins to view chat and tutor usage, alert numbers, PD lesson completion information, and more!
Dashboard
Usage Totals
This section goes over usage data for both students and teachers. The following data points can be found in this section:
- Number of teachers using Chat for Schools
- Total number of teacher chats
- Total number of teacher prompts
- Number of students using Chat for Schools
- Total number of student chats
- Total number of student prompts
Learning Studio
This section goes over the total number of each activity type created in the Learning Studio. The following data points can be found:
- Total number of quizzes created
- Total number of lesson plans created
- Total number of texts transformed
- Total number of specialized tutors created
Student Tutor Overview
This section goes over the total chats that students had with built-in and teacher created tutors. The following data points can be found here:
- Total number of Tutor Chats
- Total number of Specialized Tutor Chats
Monthly Student Chats
This section includes a graph that compares the total number of standard chats to the total number of flagged chats. This graph looks at data from the past 12 months.
Tutor Usage
This section displays a donut chart that shows usage for each built-in tutor.
Alerts
The "Alerts" section includes the total number of all-time alerts for the district and the total number of alerts for each school.
PD Lessons
The "PD Lessons" graph shows the total number of professional development lessons completed at each school.
How to Print Dashboard Data
To print the Dashboard page, scroll to the top of the screen and click the print icon.
Usage
The Usage page includes student and teacher chat and usage data for each school.
Settings
The "Settings" page allows admins to toggle and add words to the "blocked words" list. Chat for Schools has a built-in profanity filter, harmful substance filter, and a moderation filter to prevent usage that goes against our Terms of Service. This page allows admins to add additional words or phrases that they would not like students to use.
