How to Set a Section's Platform in the Computer Science Educator Portal

In this article, you will learn how to set the platform for your sections.

When creating a section in Skill Struck, you will need to set the platform in the section settings. Updating this setting will direct students to the correct platform when they log in to Skill Struck.

 

If your sections were synced over through Clever or ClassLink, you will also need to set the platform for each section.

 

How to Set a Section's Platform

  1. Navigate to your Educator Portal homepage and click "Manage Sections."

  2. Navigate to a section that you would like to update and click the blue pencil icon.

  3. Click the "Platform" dropdown. Select one of the following options:
    1. Launch Pad
    2. Voyage
    3. Type Station

Only select Type Station if you do not want your students to access computer science. If you select Launch Pad or Voyage your students will still have access to Type Station.

 

  1. Click the blue "Save" button.

  2. Now your students will be directed to the correct platform!

If you updated the platform while students were logged in, they will need to log out and back in to see the update.
