How to Assign a Custom Tutor in Canvas

In this article, you will learn how to assign a custom tutor to your students in Canvas.

  1. Select the course in Canvas that you would like to create an assignment for and click the “Assignments” page

  2. Click the "+ Assignment" button to create a new assignment

  3. Scroll to Submission Type, and from the dropdown, select "External Tool."

  4. Click "Find."

  5. Click "Select Skill Struck Assignment."select assignment 1


  6. Click "Chat for Schools."

  7. Select one of the available tutors.

  8. Click "Select."

  9. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Save and Publish."
