Rostering Options with Skill Struck

Here you will find a list of rostering options that we currently offer.

We recommend setting up integrations at least two weeks prior to any start date or trainings. 

Using a Rostering Integration

Rostering integrations will take care of uploading all account information for the district including admins, teachers, staff, students, and sections.  

The district will work with their Customer Success Manager and Skill Struck's Integration Specialist to get this set up. 

  • Clever (Updates in Overnight Sync or Skill Struck can push manual sync)
    • District can filter data
    • Skill Struck can filter data
  • ClassLink (Updates in Overnight Sync or push manual sync)
    • District will need to filter this data
    • Skill struck does not have the ability to filter any of this data
  • One Roster
  • Google Classroom

Note: Clever & ClassLink 

Any information being shared within the integration will sync to our system.  If the section is not attached to a teacher, this will not come through our system. 

 

Accounts not included in the Rostering Integrations

If an account is not listed in the rostering integration then we would need to send them an invitation to access the platform. This normally applies to:

  • Paraprofessionals
  • Administrators
  • Some staff members
  • Any Educator account not in the integrations

 

Manual Rostering Options

There is the ability to manually add students via the manage sections tab within the Educator/Admin Portal.  There are several options to choose from:

Rostering via Manage Sections

  • CSV Upload
  • By Emails or Join Code
    • Google SSO
    • MicroSoft SSO
    • RapidIdentity SSO
    • Canvas SSO
    • Schoology SSO

Join Code - A generated code for students to use to gain access to the section.  We recommend this route when using Canvas for "rostering"
