      Messaging Students

      Use Skill Struck's in-platform messaging to communicate with students who need assistance or have questions.

      1. From your Educator Portal, click the Help Students icon.

      2. The Conversations section on the left side of the screen will list out the names of students who have started a conversation with you.
      3. Click a student's name to open your conversation and see what questions they have or what they need help with.
      4. Click the text box to type a response, and click the Send Message button to send your message.

      Only those students who have sent messages to you will appear in the Conversations box. If you would like to initiate a message to a student, you will need to use email or another messaging service provided by your school. Another option is having all of your students send a "hello" message to you at the start of the semester so you can see all of them in the help students section and message them as needed!
