How to Screen Record

In this article, you will learn how to screen record on different devices.

Windows-based PC

1. Press the Windows + Alt + R keys at the same time to start recording.
2. To stop recording, click the Stop button in the recording menu on the right side of the screen.
   
   • The Stop button looks like a square with a circle around it.
3. Screen recordings are saved to the "Captures" folder within the "Videos" folder.

Chromebook

1. Press the Shift + Control + Show Windows keys at the same time.
   • The Show Windows key looks like a rectangle with two vertical lines to the right of it.
2. In the menu that pops up, select the Screen Record option.
3. There are three recording options:
   
   • Full screen recording
   • Custom size recording
   • Window Recording
4. Select the recording option and click within the recording area to start recording.
5. To stop recording, press the Stop recording button in the menu at the bottom of your screen.
   
   • The Stop recording button looks like a square with a circle around it.
6. Screen recordings are saved to the Downloads folder.

Mac

1. Press the Shift + Command + 5 keys to access the screenshot toolbar.
2. There are two recording options:
   • Full screen recording
   • Partial screen recording
3. Click the Record button on the menu bar to start recording.
4. To stop recording, press the Stop button at the top of the screen.
   • The Stop button looks like a square with a circle around it.
5. Screen recordings are saved to the Desktop.
