Creating an Assessment
- From your Educator Portal homepage, click "Manage Assessments."
- Click "View Custom Assessments."
- Click the "+" button in the top right corner of your screen to create a new assessment.
- Type the custom assessment name and click "Save."
Editing and Assigning an Assessment
Now that your custom assessment is created, you need to add questions, publish the assessment, and assign it to a section.
How to Add Questions
- From the Custom Assessment page, click the pencil icon to the right of the assessment name.
- Using the section drop-down menu, select which sections you would like to have access to the custom assessment. You can choose individual sections or you can choose "All Sections."
- In this menu, you have three ways to add questions:
- Create question - allows you to create a custom question.
- Copy from Question Bank - allows you to pull questions from pre-existing assessments.
- Upload my own questions - allows you to add custom questions in bulk using a CSV file.
When uploading your own questions via CSV, answers need to be listed as A,B,C,etc. Not typed out in entirety.
4. After questions have been added, click the "Published" toggle to publish the assessment to your students.

5. Finally, click "Save" to save all changes.
