1. From your Chat for Schools Educator Portal, click on "Create a tutor."
2. On the Tutor Creator page, toggle to "Manual Input."
3. The "Tutor Name", "Subject or Topic", and "Grade Level" fields are required fields that need to be filled out.
To get accurate answers back in your language of choice, add them in the Subject or Topic field. This will ensure that the tutor answers in the language desired.
4. The Optional section is not necessary, however, the more information and guidance provided to the tutor the better. This is then followed by the "Socratic method" option, if selected it will instruct the tutor to ask questions instead of providing answers.
It is recommended for the "Special instructions" field to have information such as to only reply and answer in that language in this section.
5. Once all of the information has been input, click "Generate."
6. Upon clicking "Generate", you will be able to see a preview of the created tutor on the right-hand side of your screen.
Notice that the initial introduction from the tutor is in the language provided in the set-up instructions!
7. Now, let's test by asking a question in the language and subject of the tutor. Then click the blue arrow button to submit.
8. Notice that after asking a question in the chosen language, the tutor responds back in the chosen language.
9. If the tutor meets your requirements after the preview, click "Export to Chat for Schools."
10. Lastly, you will be prompted from the "Export to Chat for Schools" page to select the section(s) to have the tutor available. Once selected, click "Export Tutor."
11. Upon completion, a notification of "Tutor successfully exported to Chat for Schools" will appear.
