How to Archive a Section

This article explains how to archive a section.

Archiving a section allows you to disable a section so that students can not access it. To archive a section, navigate to Manage Sections on your Educator Portal.

  • From Manage Sections, click the Blue Pencil icon to the left of the section you want to archive.
  • The Edit section window will open. Scroll to the bottom of the window and click on the gray Archive icon.
  • A pop-up will appear, asking, "Are you sure you want to archive the section? Students will no longer be able to access this section." Click OK.
  • The section is now archived and not accessible to students. Section settings will be saved, even when the section is archived.

How to Reactivate an Archived Section

An archived section will still appear in your list of sections. You can restore a section at any time.

  • From Manage Sections, click the Blue Pencil icon to the left of the section you want to restore.
  • The Edit section window will open. Scroll to the bottom of the window and click on the yellow Restore icon.
  • A pop-up will appear, asking, "Are you sure you want to restore this section? Students will have access again." Click OK.
  • The section has been restored and is available to students again.
