Archiving and Restoring Sections in Your CS Educator Portal

Archiving hides a section without losing any student progress data. When a section is archived, students will no longer be able to access that section. You will also no longer see that section on your "Manage Sections" page.

 

Archived sections can be restored. Student progress and rostering data is not lost when a section is archived.

 

How to Archive a Section

  1. From your Educator Portal homepage, click "Manage Sections."manage sections I


  2. Navigate to a section that you would like to archive and click the blue pencil icon.

  3. At the bottom of the menu, click the gray archive button.

  4. In the menu that pops up, click "OK."

  5. Now the section is archived!

 

 

How to Restore an Archived Section

If you previously archived a section and would like to restore it, you are able to do that.

  1. From your Educator Portal homepage, click "Manage Sections."manage sections I


  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "View Past Sections."

  3. Navigate to the section that you would like to reactivate and click the blue pencil icon.

  4. At the bottom of the menu, click the button with a clock icon to restore the section.

  5. In the menu that pops up, click "OK."

  6. Now the section is restored!
