Enabling Accessibility Features

This article describes how to enable accessibility features for Launch Pad, Voyage, and the Educator Portal..

Skill Struck uses the accessiBe access widget, the leading automated web accessibility solution powered by AI, to provide a wide range of accessibility features and options. Accessibility features must be enabled and customized for each student's individual account.

Enable Accessibility Features for Voyage

  1. From the student account, open the Account Settings menu.

  2. Select the Accessibility features box in the Account Settings section. Select Save account settings.

  3. The Accessibility icon will appear in the bottom right corner of the window. (Once enabled, the icon can be found in this position at all times.)

  4. Select the Accessibility icon to open the Accessibility Adjustments window. Choose the right accessibility profile for the student using the account and select On to enable those features.
    1. Options include Seizure Safe Profile, Vision Impaired Profile, ADHD Friendly Profile, Cognitive Disability Profile, Keyboard Navigation, and Blind User.
  5. There are also options for Content Adjustments, Color Adjustments, and Orientation Adjustments. Select any feature you would like to enable.
  6. When you are done close the Accessibility Adjustments window by selecting the X in the top left corner.
  7. Your accessibility customizations will be applied to the profile. Select the Accessibility icon at any time to make adjustments or choose different settings.

 

Enable Accessibility Features for Launch Pad

  1. From the student account, select the Profile icon (the cat in the top right corner.)

  2. Select the toggle for Accessibility Features. The button will be blue if accessibility features are turned on.

  3. Select Save.
  4. The Accessibility icon will appear in the bottom right corner of the window. (Once enabled, the icon can be found in this position at all times.)
