Creating Custom Activities

This article describes how to create custom activities through Skill Struck Community..

Skill Struck Community's Classroom Resouces section is a space for teachers to browse ideas, plans, worksheets, presentations, and more. It also includes an area for custom activities. To create and use custom activities, follow these steps:

Create a New Custom Activity

  1. Navigate to Skill Struck Community, and select Classroom Resources.
  2. Select Activities.

  4. Select the + button to create a new custom activity.

  5. The Add Activity window will open. Add details to each of the fields within the window. When you are done, select the Save button.
  6. Once you have saved your custom activity, it will appear in the Your Custom Activities tab. However, it will appear as Pending until a member of Skill Struck's learning team is able to review and approve the activity.
  7. Once approved, your custom activity will be available for use by you and other teachers.

Edit an Activity

  1. To edit a pending activity, select it from your list of activities in the Your Custom Activities tab.
  2. Make any changes needed, and select the Save button when you are done.
  3. The changes will be submitted for approval.

Activity Status

  • Once you have saved a custom activity, it will appear in the Your Custom Activities tab as Pending until a member of Skill Struck's learning team is able to review and approve the activity.
  • Once approved, you will received a confirmation email and your custom activity will be available for use by you and other teachers.
  • The approval process for custom activities helps ensure that any content submitted is relevant and appropriate.
