FAQ: Can students work on their own coding projects?

Last updated - June 30, 2026

Yes! Depending on what platform they are assigned to (Launch Pad/Voyage or Orbit), students can use Skill Struck's editor or playground to code their own projects.

Launch Pad offers a variety of different playgrounds for students to create and test their code:

  1. Code Playground
  2. Puzzle Playground
  3. Typing Playground
  4. Blocks Playground
  5. Blocks Pro Playground
  6. Robotics Playground

Voyage provides a code editor and terminal that is accessible to students. Currently, it can run the following languages:

  • HTML
  • CSS
  • JavaScript
  • Java
  • Python
  • C++

Orbit is a separate platform dedicated to building custom projects. The languages available are the same as in Voyage.
