In Type Station, you are able to provide students personalized practice with the help of AI!
There are two settings under the Enable Personalized Practice toggle:
- The Allow AI missed key training setting creates targeted typing lessons for each student, using various patterns to improve specific letters.
- The Allow AI paragraph training setting assigns lessons to students that incorporate missed keys into paragraphs for more contextual practice.
Assigning AI AI missed key and AI paragraph training settings
1. From the Educator Portal, click on Manage Sections.
2. Select the keyboard icon next to the section you want to edit.
3. The Allow AI missed key training and Allow AI paragraph training will be located under the Enable Personalized Practice area.
4. There is an option to toggle on Enable Personalized practice which will turn on both settings below. Or you can toggle the option you wish to assign.
5. Once the selections have been made, click Save changes.

1. From the Type Station home page, click on Personalized Practice.
2. Depending on the setting that is turned on for the assigned section, either the option for paragraph practice or key practice will appear.
3. The paragraph practice will have the student practice typing in a paragraph format. While the key practice will have them focus on the keys they need more practice with.
